I'll stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really happening.
