Vehicles in German Town Found Marked with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Area Law Enforcement
Police stated they were contacted by a individual who found a car in Hanau covered with red-colored substance

Around fifty vehicles have been marked with what seems to be blood from a person in the German city of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, police confirm police.

Cars, exterior walls and mailboxes were marked, sometimes with Nazi symbols, they reported in a statement.

Law enforcement state they were contacted in the late hours on Wednesday, when a individual observed that a automobile in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been smeared with a red-colored fluid.

The liquid had been placed in the form of a banned symbol, they stated.

Officers then discovered numerous other smeared cars and building exteriors in the nearby vicinity.

Nazi symbols are illegal in Germany under laws prohibiting the visible presentation of symbols from the Nazi era.

Law enforcement say initial examinations show the substance was likely human blood.

"Currently there is no clue as to where it came from; officials are not yet aware of any harm in connection with the event," they added.

Municipal representatives announced they were working "to unravel the incident" and have appealed to the public for tips.

A high-ranking representative commented the incident made him without words and had to be addressed quickly.

"This act hits the core of Hanau and reawakens the pain of the far-right terrorist attack in 2020," he wrote on online, referring to the killing of nine people by a shooter aiming at residents of foreign heritage in February 2020.
